Summer was very busy for me with lots of company and trips, and I didn't get much intense painting time. But when I could, I went into my garden and painted the flowers there. I could usually sneak that in. I have loved my cobalt blue birdbath since I got it years ago, and was pleased to make it the centerpiece of the flowers that surrounded it: Holly berries, black eyed susan's, tall late summer anemones, and some blue annuals I've forgotten.
