Green Apples

"Green Apples" is the second in the Green Poems series. Done in metallic and regular acrylics, the apples of creativity bounce around because they have been released by creative work. Sometimes I do "Inside Work". It is usually mixed media and often responds to some bit of writing or a poem or music. This quote is one that I find rings so true for me when I am waiting for inspiration to paint. There may be none - just paint and it might happen. Writers and painters are often similar in process. If you wait for the perfect complete moment, your green ideas will wither away.​
